This month was all about animals: the real ones and the toys. It all started with our trip to Miami to visit Ana and Tater. Sophia did absolutely great on her first flights – she slept all the way through the flights and taxi rides.
We would have never found our way to our bed and other important areas of the house without very detailed and clear instructions:
It was great to escape snow storm and arrive to sunny Miami. First thing we did – we went to Miami zoo where Sophia met lions, tigers, elephants and even fed a giraffe. But first Sophia had to get a lioness attitude:
And of course feeding giraffes was an absolute highlight!
Long after this feeding when we told Sophia word “giraffe” she was sticking out her tongue.
Next day we decided to visit the beach where we enjoyed a perfect sunny weather.
We loved hanging out with Ana and Tater.
And listen and dance to Tater singing in the mornings
Unfortunately all good things have to come to an end and we had to go back to freezing New York where Sophia was reunited with her beloved Joanna and Freddie.
Also in New York we got animals too, but not the real ones (except Joanna and Freddie)… We have our own zoo – thanks to the beautiful Schleich animals. By the end of the month Sophia started making animal sounds. She can bark like a dog and meow as a cat, make an owl sound, and a goat sound. She also can hiss as a snake:)
At home Sophia discovered couple of new activities like climbing the couch.
And our favorite activity of the month was of course exploring and wearing mom’s jewelry.
